Full-service moving

How a move actually runs.

Full-service moving companies are easier to judge by their sequence than by their adjectives. This is the sequence UDDIM Moving uses.

  1. 01

    You describe the job

Origin, destination, date, size, stairs, and the pieces you already know are difficult. The estimate form is built for that brief. It prepares a mailto draft and does not submit to a UDDIM server.

  2. 02

    We survey the inventory

A list, a video, or a walk-through. This is where attics, pianos, and office floor plans appear. A full-service moving company that skips this step is guessing.

  3. 03

    You receive a written estimate

Scope, not a slogan. Read what is excluded. Pricing logic is explained on moving costs. Acceptance is what books the work.

  4. 04

    You prepare

Elevators, parking, packing decisions, and the bag that never enters the truck. Packing is scheduled here if you want it.

  5. 05

    Move day

Protection, load, and a crew matched to the paper. If the site does not match the paper, we pause and say so.

  6. 06

    Delivery and notes

Placement, a walkthrough, and the valuation process described in your documents. Storage is only in this sequence if it was booked.

What full service does not silently include

Unpacking, packing materials, a second stop, a piano, a safe, overnight storage, and a guaranteed clock time. Full-service movers include them when the lines include them. If you are comparing full-service moving companies, lay the lines next to each other. The company with more sentences is often the company that will not invent charges later, even if the first total looks higher.

Local residential, commercial, and labor-only paths use this same skeleton and then diverge. Follow the service page that matches the job rather than forcing every move through one script.

FAQ

Process questions

Do I have to be on site for the survey?

Someone who knows the household or the office should be reachable. A video walk-through can be enough. An on-site look is better when stairs, a piano, or a safe are involved. The estimate is only as honest as this step.

What is a full-service move?

Full-service movers handle the agreed protection, loading, transport, and placement. Packing and unpacking may be included or optional. The phrase is meaningless unless the estimate lists the services. We use it only in that sense.

When is the move actually booked?

When you accept a written scope. A phone conversation and a website form are requests. They do not hold a truck.

What happens if something is damaged?

You note it at delivery or within the window the paperwork specifies. Valuation terms in the estimate govern the conversation. This page cannot promise a result. Photograph obvious issues and keep the inventory.

Can I change the date after I accept?

Ask. Date changes depend on the calendar and may change the price or the window. They are not automatic, especially near the first of the month.
